A passing

....i've been knitting now for six years....today marks a significant day in my knitting life....there is a particular group on Ravelry that has warm friends who have given me many shared laughs, knitterly advice, encouragement, and challenged me to learn more....the Friends of the 28-row Scarf and It's Siblings group....whose Fearless Leader, Lynne Ashton, died today after battling cancer....
....i've already been missing her for these months she has been ill....she had such a great sense of humor and cheer....i loved her and will miss her.....
....she was the creator of the 28-row scarf:

Sally's 28-row Scarf
....and if you read this blog i'm sure you remember the socks i finally learned how to knit last year.....

Toe-up Socks
....it was Lynne's pattern for the socks and the groups encouragement that kept me knitting them until they were accomplished....

....goodbye my friend,
Sally

Such a sad, sad day . . . to lose such a warm, caring and funny person.

She shall be remembered with much love.
